So I have my first high school reunion this summer and the deadline to RSVP is this week. I think it would've been fun to go but it's not something I really want to go in particular since I already keep in touch with everyone that I want to be from high school. But they made it a 21+ only event (w/an open bar), so that quickly made the decision for me since I feel like it's too early for me to leave our LO with a sitter for a night.
So that got me thinking...since I haven't been to a reunion before. Are they usually adults-only events?
And just for fun, let's have a poll on reunions!

We are going to DH's 20thHS reunion this August. I think they have activties during the day where they bring the family. There is an event Saturday night which is for adults only.
I've had informal reunions with my HS classmates and they're always soo much fun :-).
I'm from a really small town and I keep in touch with a lot of my highschool friends. I had a good time at my 10 year reunion, but I felt like people hadn't changed enough and that everyone went with something to prove.
Ours had a "family day" at the lake and then an adults only dinner. A lot of my friends had kids by the time the reunion rolled around maybe that factored into deciding to have a family day.

I didn't go to my 5 year reunion, but I did go to my 10 year. It was a lot of fun, but I really just hung out with the same friends I always do. It was nice to see everyone else too.
I am guessing it was adults only. I dont' remember the invite specifically saying that though. It was in the French Quarter on a Saturday night. I know a lot of people from my class have kids now, but none of them brought them. Maybe people didn't come b/c they didn't want to bring their kids out late.
