Alabama Babies

Another BFing/pump question

Someone mentioned on another board that some insurance companies will cover a breast pump under "durable medical equipment" if your Dr writes a prescription for one. So have any of you ladies that used BCBS Alabama had them cover your breast pump? TIA!

Re: Another BFing/pump question

  • I have BCBS but didn't ask...I would say ask, the worst they can do is say no.
  • Loading the player...
  • If they do, then I wish I had known!  Never hurts to ask.
  • I didn't have BCBS with Lyla but I did get this:

at hospital that my insurance paid for.

    Can't hurt to ask!
