It's all starting to make sense now...

I've always heard women complain when they get to the end of their 3rd-tri about how uncomfortable they are etc. And yup, it's all starting to make sense. @ 24 weeks I started getting these pains similar to what you'd get if you sit on a man's bicycle for too long. Dr. said it was normal all thanks to the "bowling ball" (baby) in my "basket" Lol. Last week J's movements have started to hurt. A couple of times a day he pushes down sooo hard with his feet(he's breeched)and his head pressing so hard agains all my smooshed organs that I could SWEAR he's trying to stand up straight in my uterus. It literally makes me jump up out of my seat cause the pressure if pretty intense.I'm starting to thank the medicine gods for inventing the epidural early. Not to mention sleeping is pretty much non-existant over night thanks to the peeing and the fact that my legs and hips hurt from sleeping on my sides so I'm tossing and turning constantly. Still despite it all.....I've loved being pregnant for the last 10 weeks. The first 23 weeks I was always soo nervous that it wasn't until I started feeling him move that I finally started to let myself enjoy the experience. I also really can't complain. This boy has made the last 8 months pretty easy.

5-ish weeks to go!!

It really is crappy all those pains we go through! I also felt like I was beat by a baseball bat on my crotch for the last 7 weeks! Unfortunately that pain was nthing compared to the labor,delivery, and recovery! lol

I remember sleep was the most uncomfortable thing for me in the end. DD was really active at night and she liked to perch herself right under my ribs. The movements get more forceful too. Just wait until the baby is here and you see him getting into certain positions that make you think "ahh that's what he looked like when he was inside of me."

I am right there with you mama! I'm sorry you are uncomfortable, but you are SO close :-) With my first, I was just really tired toward the end and HUGE so waiting was so hard. This time, I have tremendous back pain and sciatica that I'm in physical therapy for. It is amazing the things that our body goes through during pregnancy, especially the end.
Feel better and use the next few weeks to do things for yourself now that everything for the baby is ready and waiting :-)

So sorry you are so uncomfortable :-( I can't believe you are down to your last 5 weeks, WOW! Sleeping was def the worst part for me.. I was a stomach sleeper and just never got comfortab;e on my side, not even with the bunch of pillows everywhere lol. He'll be here before you know it and the second you see him, all these pains will be a distant memory Big Smile

It is no fun to go through all the aches and pains but worth it at the same time! With my 1st I didn't get uncomfortable till like the last week, This time around, I am 30 weeks and waddling along as if I were 39 weeks. It will be a long few weeks for me! You are almost there and will have other aches and pains to be worried about!

Wow! I can't believe you're just a few weeks away from your due date! I don't have any experience yet with the third tri, but I have also heard about how uncomfortable it gets towards the end. I'm sure it will all be worth it and you'll forget about it soon. I feel like my m/s (which was just some dizziness and nausea) was totally nonexistent now.
