  • I'll just give you our #1 because you have so many good recommendations:

Pout Pout Fish by Deborah Diesen

I cannot recommend this book highly enough; great language, great pictures, great story.

  • The Kiss Kiss book and Does a Kangaroo have a mother too? are great books.  DS LOVES the repetition and whenever the Kiss Kiss book says "kiss kiss", he give me two kisses.  We have read both these books so much the pages are falling out!
