EPers, come in!

After weeks of fighting with my LO while nursing (due to possible reflux, OALD, oversupply) we decided that since he was taking to bottles so well, I would pump almost exclusively.  Well we've been doing that today, and while pumping is going fine, LO is now crying during bottle feeds!  

How well do your LOs take bottles from you? For those that are still able to latch on, do you think they miss it/prefer it to the bottle sometimes?  Do you still give it a try?

What could be the reason for fussing/crying during feeding?  LO usually starts fussing after about 2-3 oz, and typically eats between 3.5-5.5 ever 2-2.5 hours!  (He's a big boy...) Do you think he's done?  Now I know it's not a flow issue like it was when he was fussing at the breast directly.  Could it be an allergy problem?  I'm so frustrated and feel like giving him a small bottle of formula just to see if he fusses at that... sigh..

    One reason he is crying---he's a month old.  DS cried while he ate up until 2-3 months and he did not have reflux or anything else wrong.

    I just switched to EPing for 4 out of 6 feeds (I guess that's not technically EPing) because H has been giving me such a hard time while nursing (as in drinking a little then screaming).  He is horrible with the bottle, but we do get his milk in that way.  

    We had H on reflux meds and I cut out all dairy and he still cried.  It was just something he had to get past.

    Wow, your boy sounds a lot like mine!  He would drink, scream, drink, scream.  I'm still going to try to nurse through the night because he does well with it, but I'll probably be doing something close to 70/30 bottles to breast.  I guess sometimes they're just fussy feeders and there's not much that can be done.

    DD used to take the bottles well from me. Now she fusses a lot during the feedings and it drives me insane. I hope it's just a phase.

    Our LO seems to fuss when he is done, just plain full, he is taking 3ish oz every 3 hrs.  Also when he has to burp fuss fuss, maybe try burping more if you already don't?

    L fusses during feeds too. It drives me crazy.  She does not fuss too much on the breast, but she does not get enough to eat that way and screams within an hour for a bottle, then fusses on the bottle.  I hope she gets over this!
