When you got pregnant, were you charting, just going with the flow, doing the "every other day," thing, or?

    I charted the first time, and luckily got pg on our 2nd month of trying.  Didn't chart this time, just had lots of sex.  Got pg right away.

    But it really is different for everyone.  Charting will definitely help you understand your body better and be able to better time things if you want to actively ttc, as opposed to "eh, just see what happens."

    To be honest. We just went by cm and then just had a lot of sex. We got very lucky!

    We were just kind of rolling the dice. We stopped using contraception in April and figured we'd just kind go with it without planning to really try until after our trip to Italy in September. I had a laparoscopy in 2008 for a cyst the size of a golf ball so I have scar tissue on one of my ovaries. Even though my OBGYN told me I wouldn't have any problems conceiving after I had the surgery, we expected things to take a while. We were wrong lol.

    To be honest I just know my cycle like the back of my hand. I had 28 day cycles every month and always ovulated on day 15 or 16. So we had sex 3 days and the day before I ovulated. Got pregnant both times the first month we tried.

    We charted.  Once I started getting EWCM we had sex every day the month I got my BFP.

    i sort of feel guilty because compared to just about everyone else H and i didn't do anything. we went away on vacation for 2 weeks and just did it whenever we wanted..and according to the computers it appears i was preg by the end of week one.

    Just went with the flow. I bought the thermometer and never got to use it. $10 down the drain but oh well, I got my BFP :) After one month of not really trying and not really preventing.

    With DD: just used OPKs, sex every day

    With this one: OPKs, CM, temps, and sex every day

    Both took exactly 3 cycles.

    I used the home ovulation sticks, got pregnant first try with them...2nd month off BC..I could of just gotten lucky though,

    Charting! I loved it. I will definitely continue doing to when I'm done being pregnant and breastfeeding. It is so nice to understand what your body is doing, and it's really easy.

    I tracked my CM for about a year and when we were ready to TTC we got busy every single day during the window when I knew I was O'ing (Thursday-Sunday) and it worked!

    Charting for two months and OPK's.  Although I really don't think either worked for us.  Charting just stressed me out and I had positive opks for 3 weeks.  I think we just got lucky

    My IUI was what finally got us our BFP.
    New little one arriving in June 2015!

    Charting

    Sex every.single.day. (we were newlyweds..haha)

    Elevated my hips after sex (may be an OWT, I'm not sure, but I figured it couldn't hurt)

    Didn't use any lubricant except.. ahem.. saliva

    Evening primrose oil and vitex

    Took us 3 months, and that's with me having PCOS and trying for 6 years with the ex husband.  Miracles happen! :)

    I was charting and using OPKs as well as checking CM and CP...but only up until the month before...the month we got pregnant for some reason we just "took a break" as we had just moved to a new place and were a bit stressed and whatnot...and of course that was the month it happened lol! :)

    Didn't use any lubricant except.. ahem.. saliva Saliva can actually kill sperm.  If you need lube, a good sperm-friendly lube is PreSeed

    Evening primrose oil and vitex

    Took us 3 months, and that's with me having PCOS and trying for 6 years with the ex husband.  Miracles happen! :)
