or is this heat unbearable?! I know it feels worse when you are pregnant, but I was pretty okay until this weekend. That baby shower I attended on Saturday was outdoors, under the sun, with no fans at 3 p.m. I only lasted about an hour and a half there. I went to the bathroom every few minutes just to get some a/c. Thank goodness I had another event to go to so that I could excuse myself. But, I felt so terrible after I left that I got a headache that lasted, on and off, until yesterday.

32 weesk pregnant , running after a 2 year old and 4 year old and this heat do NOT go together. I feel like dying just walking to my car (and it's in the driveway just a few feet away in the driveway.).
I actually feel really guilty about this because I am stuck at home alot with the boys because when we go out I feel like I am going to pass out. I hope they don't remember these years too well, or else they are going to think I didn't care about them
Not you - it is really really hot. I'm sure being pregnant makes it even worse for you though - yuck!!!!
I'm so glad we have a garage at home that I can park my car in so it doesn't get overly hot. Whenever I go out somewhere I make sure I park under a tree otherwise my car is just unbearable - and my windows are tinted!
Yes! I agree about the pool and the carport! I have to park my car in the sun at work because we have assigned spaces and since I leave around 3 p.m. it's actually taking about half the car ride home for the a/c to really cool the car. I'm so glad the house has a carport so I don't have this issue when I park at home. Also, the pool was not on our list of priorities when we were house hunting, but it was such a great bonus! If it wasn't for all the rain in the afternoons, I'd be in there everyday!
It's horrific, and the humidity is through the roof!!! I never had morning sickness, but the few times I did throw up during my pregnancy were from the heat. It was starting at around this time last year where I would get really hot and end up throwing up
We had Emma's six month pictures on Sunday. We did them outdoors, on the UM campus. Even though we started at 9 am, it was still a disaster. It was seriously a sauna outside. The three of us were drenched in sweat within minutes. At other points in the weekend we tried to go hang out in the backyard but it was just way too hot. Emma wasn't having it and the dogs weren't having it. I think I'm gonna buy a sprinkler for this coming weekend and a little splash pool. That will have to hold us over for the next few summers until when and if we decide to build a pool!
Definitely not just you. I avoid leaving the house at all costs. It's effin hot out there. I literally feel sick and like I'm gonna pass out if I am out there for too long. Plus, I get SUPER cranky. I've been keeping the A/C in the house at 65 at all times and if it's any hotter than that I can totally tell.
