I need a cake for DDs Baptism. I am not a fan of Sams Club or Costco. I also love Christines Cakes but think their service sucks so I hate going there. Any good places you know of? TIA!
We go through someone who does it out of her house. She can do fancy stuff. PM me if you want her info. I don't want to post her home number on the board. She lives in shelby.
DS has acid relux and milk protein allergy, and had torticollis, used to EP,

The woman who did my wedding shower, rehearsal/groom's cake and wedding cake does cakes for all occasions and just about any flavor you can imagine. The info should be in that outdated bio in my siggy! She's in New Baltimore. I LOVED my cakes And I think you got to eat the shower and wedding ones, right?

If you are willing to drive a little Party Cakes in Berkley is delicous. We always order cakes from them and get tons of compliments. YUM https://www.party-cakes.com/
When we were looking for a cake for our wedding, one of the places we LOVED was Militello's. They were a little higher priced but their cakes were really good. It's right in Shelby Twp. We ended up going with a cake place in Warren that was a little less money...it would probably be out of the way for you. I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head, but if you need it I can ask if my Mom remembers.

My friend got her wedding cake from here & I've gotten both of Roman's Birthday cakes & our gender reveal cake from here- DELICIOUS & very reasonably priced. And the owner is fantastic! Right @ the corner of 19 Mile & Garfield.
I second Militellos. We got our wedding cake from there and they do a lot of our birthday cakes too. We also had them do DS's baptism cake. I don't think their prices are high- they're actually cheaper than most other bakeries we've gone to. I know their tortes are on the higher end, but they're really good if you want something different

La Petite Pastry Shop in Clinton Twp(17 Mile & Garfield) is good https://www.lapetitepastries.com/
otherwise on occasion I'll special order a cake from the Kroger bakery (21 mile & Card) and they are always very moist and very well decorated.
