Yes, you can, though we've never done it. We usually rent the car up here and just transfer our carseat over. If we were flying, I'd probably still bring my own just to be sure that I had one that fit our needs and was in good shape.

You'll need to call the local office to find out if they have one available. $10-15 a day is what I've been quoted. Ask what kind they have. Last time we rented one, it was a bottom of the line toddler seat (thin cover over plastic with no padding whatsoever) that we probably paid two-times over for with our week of rental fees.
you can usually rent it from the rental car. but we rent it from one of those baby's away places and have it delivered to the car rental company. its way cheaper then the car rental company, plus we usually end up renting a bunch of stuff like pack n play, toys, etc.
