Re: anyone use a diva cup?

  • LOVE it!

It takes a bit of getting used to, but just relax and go for it.  I found the directions pretty helpful for getting it in.  I will warn you, I had go bear down on mine a bit to get it low enough to grab it when emptying it, but never had a spill or anything because of it - just don't panic if goes up and you can't feel it - it will come down.

(ah - the things I type on the internet...)

  • i do, or did... and will again when I have an AF :D

    i love it

i suggest trying it out a bit before AF shows up, that way you are already comfortable with how to get it in and out :)

I also ended up chopping the whole stem off of mine... I prefer it that way

  • I just ordered one.  I found a good price on Amazon, of all places.  It should be arriving any day now, but AF won't be around for a few more weeks.

  • I used on for about 9 months before I got pg.  I LOVED it.  Way better then the other options out there.

I agree with cutting off the stem.  I found that it tended to poke certain areas so I cut it completely off and was way more comfortable.  It's very easy to use but you might have to play around with a few different folding methods to find one that works for you.  I used the 7 fold and the oragami fold (there's a website somewhere that has picture demos of a bunch of different folds, but I can't remember it right now).

I used mine overnight and never had any leaking problems when it had been placed properly.  I did end up buying some cloth pantyliners for the little bit that would come out while I was emptying/washing the cup.  It takes about 1-2 cycles to get use to but I ended up liking it a lot.

  • I have one and loved it. Will go back to using it whenever AF returns after LO is born.

like a pp I suggest trying it out before AF arrives.
