About the RH- blood test that also confirms gender?

Here's my update: my doc just called. I was so nervous & about to tell her I don't want to hear the gender, just want to know the blood type result, despite half my brain shouting at me "ASK ABOUT GENDER", lol. Before I could say any of it, she said that basically my blood sample clotted up on the transportation to the lab & couldn't be used. They will try again at my next appt. I nearly burst out laughing. Do you ever feel like the world makes your decisions for you? Or sends you signs backing up ones you've already made?! Now I feel like it was just meant to be that DH & I wait for the big U/S like we wanted.

Oh, and for those who wanted to know, it is the Sequenom test.
