I may be going to Aruba!

I posted yesterday about getting invited to my cousin's wedding in Aruba. I haven't checked with my doctor yet but hopefully, I'll get the clear pass to travel since I'll only be around 29 weeks then and so far haven't had any complications. My aunt (cousin's mom) told me today that they are going to pay for me and DH's airfare and hotel!! Whoa!!! We totally did not expect that. DH & I were planning to go and pay for our own regardless. Well, now that they offered, we HAVE to go to Aruba! haha. I have to have a serious talk with Baby Jarbs to make sure she behaves and doesn't act up between now and then lol. This baby is getting spoiled..last week Mexico and (maybe) Aruba soon? :-).

wow!! that is so nice of them!!!

just a word of caution that traveling at that point it is totally do-able but you may be a little uncomfortable. just make sure you get lots of water for the plane (after you pass through security) and get up and walk around a little during the flight. and of course check with your ob. most don't limit travel until after 30-34 weeks (depending on how conservative they are about this kind of thing)

Thanks for the tip!! Eeek, I miscalculated!!! The pregnancy schedule calculator I used was wrong. I will be 32 weeks then :-/.

Plan to be lazy! I misjudged how much I could do when when I traveled and I was absolutely exhausted at the end of a two day trip.

Aruba is a perfect place to be lazy!

I have the song "Aruba, Jamaica, oooh I wanna take ya, Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama" by the beach boys stuck in my head now!!

Definitely!!!! I don't plan to do anything but eat, sleep and eat again just like what we did in Cabo :-).

Awesome! Totally go and get some R&R. I wish we had gone to Jamaica or something for our babymoon instead of London. (Although we chose London because friends were supposed to go.) I'm dreaming of the day I can just go to the beach and lounge! Might be a while...

I know but we never go to the beach or relax. It's always catching up with family and friends. Maybe when we go in Oct I'll ask my bff to babysit so we cal go chill for a few hours.
