Lovenox Ladies - I'm sorry, another ?

So...the bruising I expected. But were your bruises swollen?

Like, imagine a huge clotted bruise, but raised and sort of white around the edges. Is that normal?

Ugh. I am verrry attractive right now. So much for two piece bathing suits this summer.

Thanks ladies, I am so sorry to be a pest with this stuff.

    Hmm, mine are not like that. I really haven't bruised that much though to be honest. Have you tried icing before and after?

    BFP #1- 1/16/09- Baby Ava stillborn at 32 weeks, possible cord accident, 7/30/09

    I'm gonna have to. It's bad. It's been 5 days and I'm already wondering how quickly I'm going to run out of non-bruised tummy space.

    I think it's worse in the beginning. I was definitely running out of room for a while, but it has gotten much better. Good luck!

    The first couple of weeks were the worst for me as far as bruising. It looked like I had little bulls-eyes all over my stomach (so hawt!) but thankfully with time and practice I haven't bruised in about a month. It gets better, good luck!

    Hmmm... I don't remember my initial bruises being raised.  They were certainly ugly, but as I remember they were pretty much just under the skin, not raised.

    And I totally just googled to find the picture I posted long ago with my first bruises, ha.

    I do get bruises every now and then now that are raised slightly, like I have a bubble underneath the skin. 

    And I'm thinking it's a good thing I never wanted bare belly maternity pics nor do I ever wear bikinis.

    At first I looked like Barney (fat purple belly) but now the bruising is not as bad.  I do get those bumps that you described, along with bumps underneath.I know it feels lie you'll run out of room but these bumps do go away.  GL!
