2+ m/c, how early was your 1st ob appt?

How early did you go to see your OB after a bfp? I have a call in to my OB, and I am waiting impatiently to see when she will want me to come in. And, will I need to do blood tests before I get on Progesterone (pills)?

    They would have taken me that day but I could not make it until the following day. I just went in & they did BW

    Mine's just going to have me in for an u/s as soon as my betas get high enough.  Probably 6w. 

    It's up to your dr. whether to test your untreated prog. level before prescribing supplements.  Mine just gave me the script without testing.

    4wks exactly for bloodwork and running betas....5wk3days for 1st u/s just to make sure something was going on. Started prometrium night of bfp (clomid got p4 to 17) at 3wk6days. Our losses were due to low progesterone so we definitely had to be on the supplements. (200mg 2x's daily of prometrium)

    I didn't do BETAs and I had no reason to believe that P was a problem so I didn't do any blood work for that either. I scheduled my first u/s for 6w4d and doctor put me at 7w3d.

    I did back 2 back betas as soon as I called 4 times to check for doubling. Then did betas each week until over 6000...then I got my 1st u/s. but my 1st actual appt with my OB wasnt until I was 8 weeks....just like anyone else!
    BFP#1 2/5/09...EDD 10/13/09...m/c 2/11/2009 BFP#2 7/15/09...EDD 03/27/10...Missed m/c on 08/27/09 BFP#3 on 10/29/2009...EDD 7/13/10 Bennett 07/12/10 9 pounds 4oz and 19 1/2 inches BFP#4 11/02/10...EDD 07/16/11 Elise 06/29/11 8 pounds 8oz 20 1/2 inches 2u2 for an entire year!!!     I called as soon as I got my BFP and the doctor called in a prescription for Progesterone that same day.  I did not have an appointment to see him and for an ultrasound until about 6.5 weeks.

    I went in that same day for my first betas.  If you need it, the earlier you get on progesterone, the better.  They can always call it in for you.  I would call and express your concern...sometimes you really have to push for what you want.

    I had betas drawn right away (just in a lab) and then had an ultrasound at my doctor's office at 5w6d.

    I finally heard back, getting on Progesterone-permetrium (sp?) today. I am having my "in take" appt in 2 weeks, a sono in 2 weeks (I will be 6wks) and then I will see the doctor 7/1. Whew! I am so glad to at least have the appts on the calendar.

     And...best..of..all..She said I could go to Colorado (I'm in Kansas) as long as I drink lots of water and don't do any major hiking! So, although we are 1 1/2 days behind my parents, brother and stepson, we are on our way today!
