Day One: Cloth Diapers

DD slept in her first "g" diaper last night and It worked great!!! I woke up this morning to change her and her bum wasn't all red! I have tried over 5 different brands of disposables and I think I finally found something that works!!

Now I just have more laundry to do...lol. I should have done cloth from day one. They are way easier than what I thought they would be. Here's to cloth wearing babies (plus the bum covers are tooo cute!)

    Good job! I have enough laundry as it is so no green diapers for us. But I totally admire those who do it.

    Yay! Stick with it! It has saved us soo much money in 4.5 months already! I've spent maybe 100 bucks total on cloth, vs 50 a month in disposables. :)

    I just ordered the gro baby system from babysteals.  I'm so glad you like them.  I've been teetering for a while.  Happy to hear about successes.

    Yay for cloth diapers and cute cloth diaper covers! We've been doing cloth diapers from the beginning and we love it. We don't have a washer and dryer so we use a service but we still save money.

    Good for you.  I love it.  And Gia has never had a diaper rash.  It is really easy once you get into the swing of things.

    Hooray!  For me, diaper laundry is almost therapeutic.  Also, I love how I put them out in the sun to dry and they return to bright white :)  It's like magic!

    Awesome! Glad to hear! The laundry really isn't that bad, it just becomes part of a routine. And CD diaper butts are sooo adorable.

    It's possible that she has an aloe allergy.  That's why I had bad reactions to disposables as a kid, and why we chose to go with CD for DS (just in case).

    Just be aware.
