Ob/Gyn recommendations in Johns Creek/Alpharetta?

We just moved up here and I just discovered I am pregnant.  Does anyone have an obgyn recommendation?

  • I go to Peachtree Women's Clinic and have been happy so far.  They have offices in Alpharetta and Cumming.  I've seen several doctor's and midwives but my primary is Dr. Howard.  Good luck!

Ditto I saw the same dr for my 2nd child and delivered at Forsyth Northside.  So much closer than downtown Northside and better!

  • Obgyn of atlanta has an office in johns creek. I just delivered with them with my second baby and liked them much better than my old ob.

  • I was originally going to deliver at Northside but recently switched to deliver at Emory John's Creek after taking a tour and talking to a new doctor and some of the nurses at EJC.  We chose Drs. Suiza Chua and Betty Anthony (Suburban Women's Specialists), and so far have been very happy with the hospital and the practice.  Their office is attached to the hospital, which is super convenient.  The two of them rotate being on call with one another (versus other doctors) so unless it's a middle-of-the-night emergency in the hospital when they just can't get there in time, you know both of them and know the person delivering your baby (one of the reasons we switched practices and chose theirs in particular).

     Good luck!

  • I really like OB/GYN of Atlanta.  I used their midwives to deliver my first and will use them again for my second.  Your appointments rotate through the various doctors or midwives so that you have met them all by the time you deliver.  Right now they only deliver at Northside but I like them so much that is it worth it.
  • Dr. Sharon Smith at the Kaiser office in Alpharetta is awesome!

  • Second Drs. Anthony and Chua! I really like them. I can always get in to see a physician and am very comfortable with them. They are real people and very nice. It is so nice that their office is right next door to the hospital. You don't even have to leave the building to go to the hospital--just go downstairs, walk through a hallway and you're at the hospital. (And Emory Johns Creek is nice! I spent about 10 days there and my baby was there for about 30 in the level 3 NICU. Great place.)
