Anyone with input about OB/Gyn docs: Condevaux Mikula, or Powell?

Hi Ladies,

 I will be TTC soon and decided to go ahead and start looking for an OB in case the one I end up liking has a waiting list.  Plus, I need a new OB since I am new to MI and want to kill two birds with one stoe..

 I think I would prefer to deliver at Beaumont and I live in Auburn Hills.  Anyone ehre delivered at Beaumont Royal Oak?  Here are the docs and practices I have it sort of narrowed down to:

Paint Creek Ob/Gyn rochester hills Carole F Condevaux, MD
Clinton Women's Healthcare clarkston Deborah L Mikula, MD
www.comprehensivewomenshealth.net Lana D Powell, MD

 

ANy feedback good or bad about these doctors or their practices would be much appreciated.  Or any other info for that matter.

    I have met Dr. Powell and she is very nice and personable :-) (hope that helps!) but I have no medical experience with her! (Sorry!)

    I go to Clinton womens health (the utica office) and I LOVE them.  there are 4 dr and you will rotate with all of them during your pregnancy and each of them are great.  Mikula ended up delivering both of my kids and she was great both times! 

    fyi they deliver at Troy beaumont but not Royal Oak--not sure if that matters to you.  Good luck!

    Thanks Jenny. Your input helps me a lot, and I actuallt confirmed some of your info today myself about the docs.  I chose doctor powell because her office told me she virtually never misses a patient delivery, and i like her backup doc too, so that plus her rep made me really comfortable but I will still keep mikula as a backup thanks to your input.

    Actually I wanted to add, I spoke with Denise over at mikula's office, and she was an absolute darling.  If I change my mind about RO beaumont Ill go back to those guys.

    I'm not sure if you've had a visit or any contact with her yet, but Dr. Powell is fantastic! She is very friendly and calming and her staff is also very pleasant. I go to the Birmingham office and it is very clean and comfortable. :)
