my LO will awake and babble and then eventually cry between the hours of 5-7 averaging 6 a.m.

Yep...us too. Usually 530 is his standard wakeup time...good grief!!

I can't have caffeine, so I'm in your boat with ya!

  • DS wakes up early, around 6. I wouldn't mind *too* much except that DD will sleep until 7-730!!!!! So I either have 2 kids on diff schedules (NOT gonna happen!!!) or I reluctantly wake a sleeping baby and get her up. Usually I ignore him until he cries, hoping to buy some time!

  • We get up for work around 5:15 so her clock is timed to 5am, weekend it's normally the same.
  • somedays we do! he wakes up at 5am and sometimes there's no getting him back down. those are rough days!
  • Buggie is usually up at 6am.  This was fine before b/c I was already up to pump and had to get her off to daycare anyways.  Now, I'm finished working and would LOVE to sleep in.  Meh, she's a good napper.
  • yup 6 am is a good day, thank god it is sunny out earlier now.  I used to hate hate when I was up before the sun.  She averages b/w 5:15-5:30, but thankfully I am a morning person so I don't really mind.
  • we are up for the day no later than 545am like clockwork!
  • Tegan used to be up every morning at 4 AM, I started bringing her to my bed to sleep until we had to get up at 5:30. Eventually she started to sleep in her crib until 6, and for the last two days she's slept till 7. I'm not going to say anymore about the 7AM thing because I'm terrified that I'll jinx myself.

  • right here with ya....i am praying that this new 530am wakeup is only b/c of teething...he is sleeping a lot better at night though and goes down at 7 so Im thinking the early rising baby club may be home for me!

  • 7:00 is considered sleeping in in my house

DD is usually up between 6:00 and 6:30, but she's also been known to be up and ready for her day as early as 5:00.

  • Same over here. He is usually up by 545 or 615.

It is amazing how much you can get done before 10 am.

A walk to starbucks, a shower, laundry, dishes and even work.

    I do miss sleep though.

LO is generally up at 6. I sleep in the nursery (my bed is next to the crib) so I hear all his little noises.

When he 1st wakes, I feed him, fall asleep. Wake when he fusses, then put him in the jumperoo. Wake when he fusses. Put him back in the crib and wind the mobile. Wake when he fusses. By this time, its time for me to get up and get us ready for work and daycare.

ditto!  DS used to sleep in until 7, but lately he's been STTN most nights and is up at 5.  Not to complain, but the last two nights he's been up every three hours, and is still getting up at 5!  He wants to play for about two hours and then go back to sleep.  That would be great if I hadn't started to go to work earlier because I started carpooling!  Why can't he sleep when I want to!  Going to bed later did not work either.  He went to bed and hour later last night due to a long late afternoon/early evening nap, and still got up at the same times!
