My SIL is taking a road trip up to Delray tomorrow and I know some of you are familiar with the area. She was wondering if there was anyhting she should do while up there. She has never been and would be interested in eating at a good restaurant or something while in the area... any suggestions would be awsome! TIA
Re: Delray Beach*
Hi There,
Downtown Delray is great for walking, window-shopping, chic restaurants, and walking along the beach. Boston's on the Beach is nice for a burger and beach view. Cabana El Rey is also nice and I've been wanting to try Cafe De France.
Delray also has a yacht that does daily tours of the intracoastal down to Boca. It's like $20 or so. I took my parents; they enjoyed the views of the million dollar homes.
I love Delray Beach, and more especially Downtown Delray (Atlantic Ave). One of my favorite places to eat down there is DaDa's. It is an old house turned restaurant. Boston's is great too! However, I am a very casual person, so if she wants something more fancy this website will help: https://www.downtowndelraybeach.com/.
I was sad when I moved out of Delray, but will always go back to visit. They have awesome events, my favorite it First Night. Hope she has fun!
