I have to wonder about some people on facebook!

I have a friend on there who recently announced her pregnancy.  They have waited a long time, endured two miscarriages, and had to go through IF treatments.  I am so happy for them and their precious miracle.

She posted a status update yesterday about how she was glad to be out of the first trimester and moving on to the second.  Someone asked her if she had been sick any.  She said no thankfully, just tired.  This next part is what I am shaking my head over.  Another individual replies saying "Well that sucks that you haven't been sick...only people who are sick have healthy babies."  I'm completely flabbergasted!  Who says things like that, to any pregnant lady, but especially someone who has already experienced two miscarriages and been through treatments for this baby???

I so want to reply saying that is completely false and they really should think before they speak.  But I am not sure it'll do any good.  I can only imagine how that made her feel.

    OMG, some people need to keep their opinions to themselves.  Along the same lines, but I am about ready to delete some old friends (which are guys) that I use to go to school with because of the language they use in their status.  I can't stand to read a status with the "f" word used.

    I have a few friends that use this too...it makes me cringe.  I also have a guy friend who is constantly talking about how drunk he stays and I want to be like grow up you're 30 not 18!!

    That is absolutely ridiculous and insensitive that someone would make that comment, I would definitely respond back!

    That's ridiculous! I can only imagine how she felt when she read that person's reply. :o(

     

    My personal favorites are the ones that talk about God or how great church was.....and then five minutes later they have a status about how drunk they got the night before or they cuss like a sailor. I REALLY have to bite my tongue on those!!
