Diaper rash from teething

LO got her first diaper rash last week, and it popped up from no where and I thought it was a little weird, Saturday she started with a running nose and has been teething like crazy.

Can teething cause a diaper rash?

    I've been told that it can.

    that being said keep an eye on it, if it gets worse  instead of better or looks like it's tiny little bumps it could be a yeast infection, which would need a script to go away

    DD has never had it until 2 days ago when she began teething like a beast....I am convinced they are linked...

    She had it when I picked her up from day care around 4:30, I put butt paste on it before bed and it was gone the next morning 5am.
