I am sorry to start Monday off on such a positive note, but DB pissed me off this morning...lol
We have child support set up for $250.00 a month, based on what he was making at the time we drew it up. He now has an incredible job paying really well. I called DB last week and told him that I really needed some money. He told me to call him on the weekend. Then I have some papers for himt o sign so I called him on Friday afternoon, no answer (guess he thought I was calling about $$.) Got a call from him at 3:51am Sunday morning...pretty sure he was drunk and had nothing nice to say. Finally talked to him this morning and asked him if he has any money for me. He told me "yeah, eventually." Then he preceeded to tell me that I got into this situation (needing money) myself by leaving him. The alst thing he asked was "what, your boyfriend isn't giving you any money??"
He makes me so mad. When he starts this stuff it just reminds me that all DD and I ever were to him was possessions. He never sees her and now thinks someone else should be taking care of her because we are not together.
I freaking hate him, and I am going to call this morning to get the ball rolling on getting child support modified and taken directly out of his paycheck. I guarantee that he will have to pay more than I was asking him to.
On a happier note, I was b**ching to new guy about DB and he said "you and DD will always have everything you need." He really is the freaking best!
Re: I hate EX-H (total really long vent)
I would definately have child support modified!! Why should he be living a life of luxury, while you struggle and take care of dd?!
I kept putting off having ours modified and set up through the child support office....the day that he drove up in a brand new truck, and I still have NO transportation, I called to see what exactly I needed to do. Went the following tuesday and have been on it ever since.
I refuse to bust my ass to do everything, when he is just as responsible for dd as I am!
If you haven't already, if you google 'your state' child support calculator', there should be several that pop up. I've used the alllaw.com one and it has been accurate.
