AW: we got a crib!

DH's boss got us a Bellini crib! I'm not sure what it looks like yet, but I do know that it is espresso. DH had mentioned that they went into the store during lunchtime "just to look,' but I guess she had other plans, lol. I'm extremely grateful and this really made it much easier on me since I was being so indecisive on a crib. I think MIL may get us the rest of the nursery furniture which I was planning to get from Ikea. After our trip there this weekend, we found several espresso pieces that would go well with our nursery scheme. I hope the Ikea pieces go together well with this crib.

Also, DH is so cute! He's super excited about getting the baby's room ready. He's so in love with his little girl already. I think her room is going to be the nicest one in the house, lol.

Right now, we just have plans, but I can't wait to see it come together. I think we're going to get started on painting it this weekend. I may attempt to paint the tree myself. It's been a while since I picked up a paintbrush, but DH and I both used to draw and paint. Together, I'm sure we can figure it out.

Cool; good luck! Right now we're trying to find bedding so we can decide on paint colors. And we're contemplating installing a chair rail, if we can get the nerve to tackle it ourselves.
