I had my shower today!

I'm only posting and running, but I'm so glad I stopped by to hear Katy's news! Today was my shower. I'll give the full report tomorrow because I have to get to bed. We got SO much stuff. I can't believe everything that we got. The stupid BRU registry is so deceiving. I got so much more stuff that I registered for that never came off the registry. I find it really hard to believe that all of these people didn't have them take these items off. I think their system is messed up. I'm going to be going through baby stuff for at least a week. We had to leave more than half of it at my aunt's house because we couldn't get everything back here.

Yay!! A few of my items took a few days to show up as purchased on the registry but BRU pretty much sucks so I wouldn't be surprised. You can manually mark things as purchased on there tho.

I'm so glad you had a great shower!!!!! I can't wait to hear the details/see pics. When I purchased my sister's shower gift and my BFF's shower gift, I had to call BRU 2 & 3 times respectively to ask them to take the items off of their registries after giving them the sheet at check out. I only thought to check to see if their gifts were taken off since I gave one of my other friends the same gift as 3 other people at her shower--and we all had handed in the registry sheet and purchased the gifts a few days ahead of the shower date. Now I always go online to check the next day when I purchase a gift off of any registry. RIDICULOUS.

The girls on my month board were talking about the BRU registries and one said she got an email from them saying their was a glitch in their system that wasn't showing that items were purchased online.

I'm glad that your shower went well. Can't wait to hear all about it. And I want to see pictures!
