taking toddlers to movies/theater...

My parents got all of us tickets to see Sesame Street Live in September... Abby will be 22 months then.  I know she'll LOVE it, but she doesn't sit still.  Is there any way i can help get her prepared?  She should be fine, right?  I mean, it'll be a theater filled with kids her age, I'm sure they don't expect it to be totally quiet?

    LOL I think they DEFINITELY don't expect kids to sit quietly! I'm sure she'll be entertained enough that she'll sit still though!

    I took Zoe to see the Elmo show last year when she was around that age. It was totally fine. I had her on my lap for a bit, standing in front of me, all sorts of different positons! She was very into the show, she didn't even want to leave the row we were in! It'll be fine, she'll be mesmorized!

    This!  I took niece to see a Disney on Ice show when she was prob @1.5 yrs old, and she LOVED IT!  She sat on me most of the time.  The kids around us were moving around, but were really entertained so didn't disturb others.

    I took J to see his first Heat game when he was about 16 mths old. I also thought he would want to run around (mind you its not a kids show and the aisle's are tiny) but he had such a good time. Once he saw that people were cheering, screaming, clapping, he got all into it. That show will be fine for Abby i'm sure. Worse case, you buy her some snacks and a toy but she'll be fine!
