We're leaving in a couple of weeks for our trip home to Michigan, and we plan on spending a lot of time at the beach. Any advice for what to bring with us? I'm thinking we'll want some kind of shade, beach chairs, toys, sun hats for the boys, and probably those bathing suit type shirts too. Am I missing anything? Anyone have a specific brand of these things they'd like to recommend?
Thanks
Re: What do I need at the beach with a Toddler & Baby?
a roller cooler filled with frozen alcoholic beverages for mom
hmm...that might just be my family that does the beach like that.
YES. The most important part. Thanks for the reminder
Xanax?
Lot of towels, large blanket, snacks, sunscreen, cooler, toys, shade (we bring a pop up), lawn chairs.
Buckets. Both for playing with and for helping rinse them off. My biggest gripe about beach time is all the damn sand that gets everywhere. We take a gallon of fresh water and strip the kids down and wash them off. Maybe I should go to nice beaches that have outdoor showers...
We've had good luck with boys swim trunks, shorts, and hats from Gymboree and Gap. They have them at Carter's, but we haven't tried them.
