Anne Arundel Co Ped

So we are checking things off of our baby to do list and one of them is finding a Ped...any recommendations in Anne Arundel Co?

BTW has anyone in AAC given birth at Harbor or BWMC? If so what was your experience like?

    We go to Annapolis Pediatrics.  They have a bunch of offices.  In all of our visits to them I have only run across one provider that I wasn't happy with- a nurse practitioner who I just make sure to never schedule w/ again.

    We use Pediatrics Place in Pasadena. They're terrific. I haven't heard good things about Harbor Hospital, from a few people. The maternity ward at BWMC is new but I don't know anyone who's delivered there. They don't have a NICU though either so if there is a chance your baby will need it I would deliver elsewhere. AAMC is where I delivered both my babies and they were terrific.

    Ditto this. I love Annapolis Pediatrics. I have no experience at either hospital you mentioned, but I chose to deliver at AAMC, mainly because they have a great NICU there just in case, and because my friends all had great experiences there.

    We see Dr. Schneider in Davidsonville.  He was my pedi when I was little and I've always loved him.

    We go to Dr. Shaikh (410-582-9434) in Glen Burnie.  She is right off of Hospital Dr by BWMC and I highly recommend her. 

     

    BWMC seems nice and I know that they have labor tubs in each of the rooms.  (You can't have a water birth there but you can labor in the tubs if that is something that you are interested in).
