We just bought our second Sony Baby Call the other day. Our last just bit the dust after 15 months (the other night when it just decided to do nothing but make the out of range beep unless it was within 6 inches of the unit!)
I still bought it again because I was really happy with it and couldn't find one with reviews that were more satisfying. We live in a 3 story townhouse and it works with her on the first floor and us on the 3rd. There is some interference if it is near a phone, but we just don't keep it near a phone!
My favorite thing about it is the voice activation setting. When she was little and up often I kept it on the regular setting, but now this is great because I only hear her if she's really crying. If it's just a peep or two, it will kick on in response to that, but I don't hear that one peep (if that makes sense).
