    Walgreens BBT? They favor temps.

    I have a similar problem. Have you checked your BBT at different times of the day to see if your temp changes, or have DH check to see if there is a difference? I've heard that BBT can favor some temps.

    I have repeat temps as well and have checked throughout the day and it has been different. My bbt is also brand spankin new, so I don't think it's the culprit. 

    ETA: Mine's the target brand

    The Walgreens does like some temps.

    I've had 6 in a row of the exact same in the past. Check your therm by taking your temp at another time in the day. Its probably not broken and just a fluke. I wouldn't worry

    As long as it will give you a different temp when you use it at a different time of day, I don't think it's broken.  It's pretty common for some BBT therms to have "favorite" temps, but you should still be able to see your shift.

    Does your BBT go to the tenths place or the hundredths place?  If it only goes to the tenths it could very well be right, there is a difference between 98.8 and 98.85 but you would only see 98.8.

    I have used a Walgreens BBT for 22 months and have NEVER had this problem. Just sayin.

    I got the BD one off of Amazon and started using it this cycle. I will try it when I get home and see what temp it gives me. I still have mine from Walgreens that I used last time so I might see what that one does too.

    I thought my BBT was broken because it was reading 97.7 everyday. I was temping, going back to sleep and checking the temp when I woke up. 97.7 was there every morning - then I realized that if I wanted to check my temp after waking back up I would have to hold down the button for my real temp to show up.

    Like PP said though - I would check temps throughout the day to see if it's working correctly.
