AW- My BM stash

is up to 175 oz's!

I'm pretty proud of that because Ryan had too many bottles I guess and 9 times out of 10 refuses the boob so i have to pump... a lot. I was worried my supply would dwindle but I'm doing pretty good. It sure is a lot of work just pumping and washing all the bottles.

  • Good job mama!  So are you exclusively pumping?  I am sorry he refuses the boob...what a PITA!  But big props to you for exclusively pumping so he gets all of your BM.  Are you back to work?  Do you have to pump while flying?  How does that work?
  • Good for you!!!  I think I have just about that much saved after 5.5 months!
  • WOW! That is awesome. Good for you. I had a high of about 135 oz saved up when I went back to work and THANK GOD for that! As I've been working and Alexa has started solids, my supply has slowly dwindled so that I now have to use it nearly daily to supplement what I pump. I'm down to 20 oz. I would not have been able to continue EBF her these past 3 months without my stash!?

That's great news! Are you wanting to BF or do you enjoy pumping? Props to anyone that can Epump because I for sure couldn't! I hate that machine! Well other than it helps me make milk for the babes, it's not my highlight of the day :) If you are interested in getting him to take you more so you don't have to pump, I would recommend seeing an LC... ours was covered by our insurance.

We have a small deep freezer full of milk, thanks to B refusing the bottle for awhile... I WISH she would have just taken the bottle because I would totally stress out at work over her not eating for 14 hours!

This is why I have a stash that's quickly multiplying...I pump 8 oz., once a day at work, but she only takes about 3 oz./day while I am gone.  So by the end of the week I have 24oz.+ to freeze!  We're running out of space in our freezer and are contemplating getting a small chest freezer for the BM and some bulk packages of meat, etc.  Not sure what we'll do with all the frozen milk.

We bought a small deep freeze but now it's full of milk and there's no room for anything else. I wish we would have bought a bigger one because we could really use it for meats or other things... for the cost of the bigger one (less than $100 more) I wish we would have sucked it up and spent the money because now we could really use it.
