Anyone do BLW?

I want to start introducing 'big people food,' as my H so wonderfully puts it, but I'm worried about his milk protein allergy.  Most of the stuff we eat has some form of milk in it and we are not fans of soy.  I'm not sure exactly how to go about this.  Any thoughts?

  • You could try almond milk or rice milk.  Almond milk is sweeter than rice milk.

I'm nervous to try almond milk (with him) because it's made from nuts and the pedi says no nuts until after a year.  He has just as much of a sensitivity to rice as milk, so that's a no go.  Sad  I don't know what we are going to do.  I guess just stick to fruits and veggies.
