I'm due in December and trying to at least start thinking about baby gear because I have no clue where to start.
Anyone want to share what kind of stroller they have and why they like/don't like it? Or things that I should look for or stay away from? Thanks in advance ladies

Re: Popping over for a question about strollers
STAY AWAY FROM TRAVEL SYSTEMS.
Seriously. They're so heavy and bulky..it's ridiculous.
We currently have a Graco carrier and a Snap and Go frame. I haven't looked at bigger strollers yet, but we'll be getting something as equally lightweight as the Snap and Go.
I have two:
Peg Perego Aria. I bought it because it's lightweight, has most of the features of a full size stroller and was compatible w/my car seat. It's ok but I don't use it.
Maxi Cosi Foray. LOVE. I like that he can face me, has an adjustable handle, and the 2 large wheels are rubber tires.
This except instead of a Bob we have the Bumbleride Indie - it felt a bit more manageable (size-wise) to me then the Bob.
We also have a mid-size Maclaren to replace the Snap n Go when she's out of the infant carseat.
DD february 2010 | DS october 2011
*please excuse my typos, bumping from my iphone*
this except I have a keyfit 30. I LOVE the snap n go it is so easy.
I'll second that recommendation.

I actually love my Graco travel system, but I really like to have the carseat umbrella and the stoller umbrella. This way, when Cora wants to nap, I can just close up both umbrellas and she has a nice dark space to snooze.
Also, since you're having a December baby (like me), then I would suggest an infant car seat cover. It's amazing because you just put your babe in the car seat, with no jacket (which compromises safety). Also, you can just unzip the cover and leave the flaps open when you're in a store.
Here's one to show you just so you know what I'm talking about;

Since you're having a winter baby, I second the suggestion of a carseat cover. We used our JJ Cole BundleMe for 3 solid months after DD was born (January baby).
This. We have a Graco seat with a Snap and Go frame. Loves it.
We also have the Joovy Kooper. It is Thee Bomb.

i agree w/this! love my city mini and we have a snugride that we use it with. we were going to get a snap n' go for the first little bit, but just went w/the city mini from the beginning and haven't regretting it a bit!
Agreed on staying away from travel systems. We got a graco car seat with light weight stroller. LOVE them - the stroller is so light weight and easy to fold up & use. Here's the stroller we got: https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2957930
Quinny- the big one bleh, Zapp okay for travel, but prefer the Bugaboo Bee. Also have a CIty Elite (my Escalade- great).
What works for you will really change with how you are using your stoller. I see you are in Upstate NY and talking about December- when do you really think you are going to start taking baby out? Maybe just use a snap and go for a bit, then look at something else for spring. By spring baby could go into something like the City Elite- they put a 6 month rec on it because they do not want you to jog with a little one. You can recline it way down and put a Boppy Noggin Nest it- litle one is way comfy in it.
I use my Bee the most- with the Noggin Nest and some extra padding on the crotch strap- (used the car seat strap covers from my JJ Cole infant carseat positioner).
Round up on what I do now- started with fully reclined Bugaboo Bee and a City Elite using modifications to make it more comfy. Brought the back of the stroller up as little one got more control. If I had to take new baby out often or for a distance beyond what I could carry the freaking heavy car seat- I would have used a Snap and Go type thing.
Best of luck! Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy.
We did the Peg Perego Aria with DD, because it worked like a travel system (compatible with the Peg carseat we got), but was lightweight as a stand alone stroller (9 lbs). I ended up hating it because it steered like crap and the folding/unfolding mechanism broke after a year, and we had to keep it unfolded all the time, taking up our entire trunk. PITA. However, they have fixed the steering issue on the newer models, and I assume the folding issue was just a freak occurrence (after our warranty expired, of course). I liked that the Aria has a "freedom" harness that allows older babies/toddlers to be securely strapped in, but the straps don't attach to the seat back, so LO can sit forward and move around a bit. That was helpful with DD, because she hated being restrained (like against the seatback), but the harness kept her from being able to climb out.
Since I was NOT going to deal with our broken Aria anymore, we decided to get a new stroller for DS. This time, I had a winter baby, and I found we didn't have much call for a stroller for the first few months. I usually carried DS in the Moby or sling if I needed to have hands free. We really just didn't get out much. Once the weather warmed up, we got a Maclaren Triumph. I LOVE it. It's an umbrella stroller, so it folds compactly and doesn't weigh much. But it has a bit more support that a cheapie umbrella stroller, so you can use it with babies as young as 3 months. And the back reclines, which is great. It has a decent size basket underneath, but it is hard to access (though not impossible) when the seat is reclined. It doesn't have a tray or cupholder or any of that stuff because it is an umbrella stroller, but you can get accessories that clip on. We got a clip-on snack cup for baby and a cupholder for mom and dad. I guess it doesn't have all of the features of a full size stroller, but we travel pretty streamlined, and I just want something lightweight and easy to use, which it is. It's very maneuverable and steers like a dream, even with one hand (which is often necessary for me, since my LO tires of the stroller and wants to be held).
Congratulations!!! We have a chicco keyfit travel system and it is wonderful!!! I have used it so much and although I thought I may not like how heavy the stroller is, it is now my favorite!!! I use it for walking, going to the mall, shopping, etc. It has been very easy to use and I feel likt it is one of the safest options out there. I also like that the stroller is definitely tall enough for my husband and I. I am 5'10" and hubby is 6'1". The only drawback is that the carseat doesn't latch on to shopping carts, but I just carried him in a moby or now I carry him in our baby bjorn.
Good luck! I highly recommend going to the store and testing them out, which is what we did!!!
THIS! NO TRAVEL SYSTEMS!! We have Keyfit Infant Carrier and Snap Go By Baby Trends.
We also have a BOB which we haven't used yet, bc DD is little and slides. Hopefully we will use it soon.
I have a snap n go frame (got it cheap off Craigslist) and I LOVE it! Deep basket and LIGHT! Just pop the infant carseat (snugride in our case) on and away we go! I can steer with one hand and it has cup holders. Going out to restaurants, it doesn't take more room than a highchair so I just leave him in it at the end of the table.
It's given me some time to see how I use a stroller and what's important to me and as I shop for regular strollers, I'm much more informed about what I'm looking for.
