We have been using the Baby Signs program. I have several friends who used it and really liked it, so I decided to give it a try. Although DD isn't signing yet, she does recognize and respond to a few signs. I purchased the Starter Kit and have been happy with it.
I think that's actually the book we had as well. I had the flashcards and everything. DD understood signs but was never that into it. I'll pick it up w/ DS, but I'm not going to be too bummed if it doesn't work. After talking to lots of different people about it, it really seems (as with everything) it really depends on the kid. Obviously, you need to be consistent and use the signing as much as possible. GL! I hope you find a resource you're happy with.
