I go to LPW and I had such a great experience with them. There are three women doctors and was in the process of adding another doctor the week I had my baby girl. I loved all the doctors and since it's a smaller practice, you are able to schedule all your appointments with each of them. Dr. Conslato ended up delivering our baby via c-section and she did such a wonderful job. I highly recommend them, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
I was not fond of the prenatal care at LPW. My appointments with the Dr. seriously lasted all of 3 minutes, I got different answers to my questions from different Drs, etc. However, I think that they have a heavy focus on their hospital patients and that is why their routine care is a little lacking - I LOVED my hospital experience with LPW. Dr. Jones delievered our little girl. I will go back for any future pregnancies, knowing that I need to get my questions answered during the "nurse appointment" near the beginning of pregnancy or I need to nail the Dr. down during an appt and not let them get away with the 3 minute deal.
thanks for all the info. i have my nurse's appointment with them this upcoming tuesday. one thing in the preliminary paperwork that i thought was "interesting" was their credit card authorization policy. are either of you, or anyone else for that matter, familiar with it? i know insurance companies often do not pay the total price but in previous experience i have never had to pay more than my co-pay.
