Yep.
I was feeling quite paranoid yesterday after the dull achyness in my belly, but found the h/b as soon as I put the doppler on my stomach today, beating away at 147. It's sounding more and more like a galloping horse, I can find it right away almost every time, and the monitor seems to actually be giving a reliable read out these days.

Re: I swear, the doppler was the best $65 I ever spent
Yippee!! It can be SO reassuring. Even now, when I don't feel her for a little while I can at least listen to her.
Be aware - for me, weeks 12-14 were actually the most frustrating with the doppler, because LO started swimming around like crazy. So I'd find her for a couple seconds, and she'd be gone. Then I'd search around and find her, and she'd move again. I bet she thought it was HILARIOUS
So don't get discouraged if that happens to you too.
Good luck! I'm so happy you're off to such a great start
I'm so jealous you can find it so quick that early! I tried this morning after my really bad nightmare and *think* I found it but only for a second. That's all I needed tho for reassurance.
So happy you can find it easily!

The baby seems to hang out right in the front. S/he shifts from left to right to middle, but it's right there in the front so it's easy to find. The doc found it immediately too as soon as he put the doppler on at 10.5 weeks, after the whole "we might not find it" speech.
