The boys keep climbing out of their cribs and crib tents are sold out everywhere I have looked! Any advise on handling the transition to a toddler bed? Thanks!

I had my son in his T bed at about 20 months. However he was a co-sleeper so that was how I transitioned him was sleeping on the floor next to him and slowly moving further away from his bed and closer to the door. and once I was at the Door he was sleeping no prob on his own and I was very happy to get into my own bed- took us about a week.
My DD will be 2 tomorrow and we put her in a toddler bed a week or so ago. The first night didnt go so well, we ended up putting her in the baby bed then moving her once she was asleep into the toddler bed. Has been easy ever since. We say time to go night night and she climbs right in her bed and covers herself up. she doesnt stay asleep all night in there all the time but its usually not too bad. Much easier than i thought.
Nope. I had DS in a toddler bed around 19-20 mo. He never climbed out of his crib, but we had stayed at my moms for a few nights and she had only one pnp, which my DD was in so he was on the floor in the guest room. He did really well there so I did not want to take that away from him.
We had to put a gate up at his door, the first night I heard him get up bring his legos in to the living room and dump them out. Then we heard him sneak into our room he would come right next to the bed, then run out. LOL Now he is perfectly happy going to bed in his bed, he may get up, come to the door for awhile, but does go back to bed. In the mornings if he wakes up exceptionally early, I have found toys taken out...sometimes he even goes back to sleep.

We switched to a twin bed at 24.5 months. We needed the crib for DS (although he's not sleeping there yet - 1w old). We did a 6w transition and it went great. DD was not climbing out though. We put the bed in her room for 3w, she napped in the bed for 3w, then she slept at night in her bed.
DD transitioned into a twin bed at 18 months, after she climbed out of the crib, like a little monkey We had no issues with her transition. The times she did get out of bed, we just picked her up, didn't say a word to her or anything, put her back into bed. Worked like a charm for us.
we always shut his door when he slept. we kept it shut once he was in a toddler bed because we didn't want him roaming. the monitor was still on so we could hear if he was crying or playing.
I actually found he "slept" a little longer because some days I could hear him playing. He's at liberty to get out of bed, where in the crib he can't play with his toys if he's awake.
We moved our daughter to her twin bed at 23 months. It was surprisingly easy! It had been in her room for three months so she was used to it being there. One day she pointed at the bed when I was putting her in the crib for naptime and that was it. She's gotten out a couple times at night(she can't get in because it's too tall still) but otherwise has stayed in there with no problems.
I am envious that at 23 mo your LOs are still in cribs! my DS is a super climber and has been in a todler bed since about 14mos. The first week was a bit rough, esp. at naptime and during that time I often found him sleeping on the floor by the door. I did have to take all his toys out of his room, so he didn't play. But, he quickly got the point of where he was supposed to sleep. We haven't had any ssues since then.
For us it was really easy and I wonder why I didn't do it sooner (granted DD has only slept in it 3 nights so far). I kept her crib up and told her if she got out of bed she would have to sleep in her crib. She half fell out of bed the first night but didn't get out of bed at all. She called for daddy when she got up and played in the crib for an hour before taking a nap.
