  I was told that you can put baby without infant seat in the BOB when they can hold their heads up.

  you should get the infant car seat adaptor from BOB. and then just put your car seat in.  its worth the money and works great.  you can't run with it but you can walk and begin using your BOB, which IMO is much better than any other stroller.

  I have a friend who put her baby directly in the stroller at 9 weeks. Thats the earliest I'd ever do it, and her baby has excellent head control. The bob is very smooth, but even with small bumps,  it's going to be too hard on the LO. I'd definitely use the carseat until prob 4 months (my LO is almost 3 months and I don't think we'll put him directly in our Bob until 4 months to be safe).

  What is the age recommendation for BOB Strollers?
  We recommend that your child should be at least 8 weeks old before riding in a BOB stroller. Please note that babies incapable of holding their head up must have additional head and neck support to ride safely and comfortably. For jogging or off-road stroller use, children should be at least 8 months old.

  With the addition of the Infant Car Seat Adapter, newborns can safely ride in the stroller. This accessory will allow parents to use select Infant car Seats with single and double seat BOB Strollers, and will work with the best selling Infant Car Seat models available.

  Consult with your pediatrician regarding the suitability of stroller use with your child.
