    I had never heard of the name until a coworker named her son that about 3 years ago. I don't love it but I don't hate it. I just don't like the nickname Hud.

    i think it's a cute middle name, but personally living in NYC a la the Hudson, there are way too many dogs i know named this to ever name a child after the same dirty river.

    This is what I think of when I hear Hudson, and I don't live in NY. It's NMS.

    I really like the name Hudson. The ski hill in my town is on Hudson Bay Mountain, so I associate it with something awesome! It's not just a stinky NY river! Lol :)
