Pregnant after a Loss

Recommend face wash please

I just ran out of what I usually use, and I've got way more acne then I ever have in my life.  I read WTEWYE, but that was just a long list of what not to use.  I was hoping someone had a brand/type rec for me, so that I don't spend all night reading the back of the bottles.  Thanks!

  • I tried everything (PG safe) for acne, My face was horrible! Huge, cystic, painful acne. I use Belli Pregnancy Acne Face Wash and witch hazel as a toner, morning and night. I only get about one small blemish a month now!
  • I use st Ives apricot scrub, since I started using it my skin has been better than ever!! I love it, I have huge pores and it has really helped keep them clean.

  • also, I use Origins stuff too, it's all herbal. Expensive but safe in pregnancy. Between that and the Cetaphil, I have some control --not much, but some--- over my skin.

Same here! A dermatologist recommended it years ago, and I haven't had any reason to change. For what it's worth - I've had a few facials and when the therapists have asked me what I use, they never try to upsell me on their own products. They have all agreed that it's great for your skin and quite frankly, much cheaper than many other products out there.

  • I use Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser twice a day.  I also use a 7 day scrub several times a week.  When I feel a bump coming up I apply the Acne mask to the spot and leave on overnight (I apply a whole mask once a week or once every two weeks depending on how oily my skin gets).  During the day and before I put my make-up on I apply the Acne Solutions Emergency Gel-lotion on the spot where I feel a bump coming up.  I love my Clinique skin care products!! :)

This.  It didn't work miracles in the first tri, but it did the job.  I don't have as many problems with my skin now that I'm in second tri.

  • I had to switch to a non-salicylic acid cleanser once becoming pg.  I was using DermaDoctor "Ain't MisBehavin" cleanser, and loved it.  While using that cleanser, I was using Bare Minerals make-up.  I started using the Rare Minerals cleanser and moisturizer, and have found that it works great for my skin.  I'm still oily after 12 hours of working, but I don't think there is a single cleanser out there that will help with that.  It's been that way for years, pre-pregnancy.

    Good luck!!
