T&P for friend's baby

Our friend who was due 2 days before me had their baby boy on Wednesday (she was 34 1/2 weeks). He weighs 5 lbs 5 ounces and 18.5 inches long...so is a healthy size, but he has some kind of infection which is why they think she went into preterm labor. He is being kept in NICU for a while. They are running all kinds of tests on him and found blood when they did a spinal tap, but still don't know what is wrong. They should be getting the results of other tests, including a brain ultrasound checking for hemmorhaging, later today.

So any thoughts and prayers you can spare for them would be so appreciated. Hopefully they figure out what's wrong and he can recover in no time!
