Question about Southside Hospital in Bayshore
I was just wondering if anyone here knew how many people were allowed in the OR with a scheduled c-section?
My mom really wants to be in the room with DH and I, so I am trying to find out. The office manager at my OB said she didnt know, and it varies by hospital but gave me a number to call but of course there wasn't an answer!

I am pretty sure they allow up to 2 people in the room when your having a c-section, though I could be wrong it might be just 1 person, I am trying to remmber with my two friends that just had babies, in other hospitals only 1 person was allowed in the room at Winthrop Hoispital in Nassau. I would ask your OBGYN he should know the hospital rules.
