Looking for Nanny for our baby

My husband and I had a Nanny set up and then once our daughter was born our to be Nanny decided that she was unable to provide services to us due to her just having a baby as well.  Now we are in desperate need in finding a Nanny for our 3 week old daughter.  I will need to return to work within the next few weeks and am looking for any suggestions.  Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to find a Nanny in South Florida!

  • First of all, congrats on the birth of your daughter.

If you are affiliated with a church, perhaps you can start there for guidance.  Also, ask other moms you are close to for recommendations.  Sorry I can't offer anyone; we too will be looking in a few months.

  • Congratulations on your daughter.

I don't have any experience with a nanny.  There is a nanny servcie that just went in the building that I work in. Lindquist group. I have heard people talking about it, but never used it.

    Hope you find something soon

  • where do you live?
  • Congratulations on the new bundle of joy!

I too am in search of a nanny or even an home daycare. It is very difficult and I have asks for suggestions from my neighbor who is a midwife. The only daycare she knew of is no longer open.

If anyone does have any suggestions for the Pembroke Pines/Miramar area, I would also be very grateful, as I go back to workin August. My little one is now 10 weeks old.
