We have childbirth classes tomorrow all day. I am kinda excited....not expecting to learn a whole lot for myself....but I am sure that I will get some things out of it...if not, at least some peace of mind.
I am super pumped to have dh go through them since he has absolutely NO CLUE what is going to happen when I go into labor. He thinks that he will be chilling out watching TV while I am laboring....boy does he have another thing coming! He isn't trying to be insensitive....he is just honestly clueless. I am excited for him to see what it will/could really be like and what his role will be. Now if he could just be a little more excited about going it would be great!
He is even less excited knowing that these classes arent 'required'. I am thinking that he will have a change of heart after he gets there!
Re: DH and childbirth class
I was actually pleasantly surprised with how much I did learn even though I read and research EVERYTHING! My DH was clueless as well. My favorite was when he told me he couldn't believe how long labor could last. Oh boy!
