Chapped Lips....

G has the start of a little bit of chapped lips....I think it is because we are going through a growth spurt this week and eating like crazy....Can I use anything for her? I went online and they said a little dap of vaseline, but I was just wondering if any of your 1-2month olds have had chapped lips and what you have done if anything....It is not bad by far, I can just start to see it on her bottom lip...

    Her lips will look awful for a while!  It freaked me out too but my pedi said it is normal and will only get worse before better.

    She said it doesn't bother them and to not do anything about it and it will run it's course.  They have to kind of go through the same toughening up process as our nipples.

    Kash's got real bad a few times, then would shed and they would be beautiful.  Like a snake!  Lol!

    K had pretty bad chapped lips for a while.  The pedi said not to put anything on it unless it is BM.
