Pregnant after a Loss

You know what I hate?

Snarky parents who act like they have been there, done that, seen it all. I will admit that they may have some advice of use. I have no idea what it will be like to have my son but you know what? Neither do they! Why? Because they are not me and they do not have my kid so they don't know exactly how it will be!

Sorry I'm just so tired of being around someone hellion of a child and hearing, "Just you wait" or "Oh you'll see"

And tired of pg coworker who is 9 weeks further along and than me and through her entire pg has kept telling me how much I'll hate the next phase of pg! So far I've had it pretty easy and have rather enjoyed my pg, save for my moments of anxiety. But I haven't been hit with anything I can't handle!

Apparently she was telling my DH last night just how much I would hate 3rd tri, but for someone that wanted to be pg sooooo bad, she is really unappreciative of the whole experience!

Re: You know what I hate?

  • I get the other now since I already have a daugther they assume I know that part and if they have more than one they have been commenting on sibling rivalry and how my kids are going to get along together and I'm like how would you really know.  Not all kids (of all age differences) get along the same as the next.

  • I hear that... I know what you mean, its super annoying!!

I loved my pregnancy until I hit 29 weeks and my kidney issues started and I seriously believe that without the kidney issues I would have love the whole pregnancy... Everyone is different, just because she's a miserable blob does not mean that you will be!

  • Exactly! I think the ones that really get to me are my sister and ex-BIL, who are divorced but dating again. I was over the other night and getting that snarkiness all night. I really wanted to point out how it can be different with boys and girls (they have a daughter) and also how our child will be raised in a stable environment, very unlike their daughter's upbringing has been so far!

  • LOL I have a friend who's like this as well (especially when it comes to her 2 year old), she's forgetting that I have 2 kids already and one is a teenager....and neither of my kids have been horrible 2 year olds really.

There's always gonna be that biitch who thinks they know it all *rolls eyes here*

This, is my biggest pet peeve of other people while being pg. My friends are very supportive, but their lifestyle is VERY different from my DH's and mine. Their children don't have a schedule at all, and the children spend most of the time doing what they want, without adult supervision. Therefore, their kids get into a lot of trouble, and of course my friends gripe about how AWFUL their children behave. So whenever my DH and I joke about their kids' behavior, they respond with, "Just you wait and see, your time will come." It pisses me off! My child/ren will have schedules, they will be taught manners, and I my DH or etc., will be watching her ALL the time. (or atleast have some sort of idea as to what she's up to) Grrr....I just want to reach out and slap them when they say sh!t like that!
