Spelling of Haaden too weird?

Is the spelling of Haaden (pronounced Hayden) for a boy to weird? My husband ran across a client with a spelling like this...is it gonna be too weird for people to pronounce his name?

I would thing Haaden was pronounced with a long a - like Hah-den. I think Hayden is better.

Complete Fail. It doesn't look "cool" or different, it looks like the parents tried too hard to ignore their baby naming book. Hayden is such a beautiful name for a boy or a girl, why would you try to make it youneek and speshul?

It looks like it could be pronounced Hah den, besides.

I wouldn't have said it Hay den, I would have said it Hah den (like the first part of Haagen Dazss). So, yes, I think it's too weird.

Ok thanks everyone...we felt the same way. We only considered that spelling because of his client. We thought the aa looked a bit funny too. We like Hayden but because these days it is so popular as a girls name we both see the spelling as more feminine. We decided that if it's a boy we will go with Haiden which is a spelling variation found in many baby name books. Thanks for the input!
