I saw the post below for the OB/GYN at Penn Health, but am wondering if anyone can recommend their RE at the same practice?
I have a consult with Dr. Gracia in a few weeks. I was diagnosed years ago with premature ovarian failure (POF) and had a myomectomy in April 2008 to remove 3 large uterine fibroids, I also was treated in Jan. 2008 for hyperthyroidism which I just learned very likely caused my POF. Nice.
So, I'm going for a 3rd opinion - in a nutshell - I was released by former RE, went to a 2nd opinion had a really, really bad experience - the dead fish on their counter should have tipped me off but noooooo, and finally after 6 months of an on again off again meltdown, I'm going for a 3rd opinion.
Any feedback would be wonderful. Thanks!
Jen
Re: RE at Penn Health for Women - Radnor?
Hi Jen,
Sorry to hear about your challenges. I liked Dr. Maureen Kelly best in the Penn Health for Women - Radnor practice. She was down to earth and I would say she had a good "bedside manner."
Good Luck!
Sarah
Hi Sarah,
Thanks so much. After doing some more research online, I don't see any reviews at all about Dr. Gracia, so I'm going to switch to Dr. Kelly, hopefully I can get an appointment around the same day/time.
Take care,
Jen
dr. samantha pfiefer was wonderful to us....after trying to get pregnant for nearly a year on fertility treatments we had a beautiful baby girl....and now on to #2...she was terrific and so kind...good luck!
Thank you all so much. I'm hopeful for some reason now that my thyroid has been under control for 2 years, and I'm losing weight in a healthy way so that I can be back to a healthy weight for my height, and I'm taking better care of myself, that maybe, just maybe I'll have better luck this time. If not, we're considering a trip to Costa Rica and Panama for IVF and donor eggs.
Thanks again!
Jen
