It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

I tried to update where I could.
This is a place for any of you who are experiencing the world of azoospermia. Whether you were recently diagnosed and are trying to make sense of it all, or you have started preparing for IVF or IUI, or have decided instead to move on to adoption. Please join in the group by posting! Check in is on Thursdays.
Learning that the chances of having a biological child with your husband are slim to none is not easy, and is, frankly, devastating news. This check in is a place where we can share how we are coping (or not) with our new realities, provide information we've learned through investigating our options, adjusting our lifelong dreams and plans, and dealing with the situation.
I'd like to extend an invitation to those who have been fortunate enough to experience pregnancy, childbirth, and/or adoption. Ultimately, all of us desire to create a family. The experiences and insight of those who have reached that goal will be quite helpful to those of us on that road.

When IF gets me down I cry it out, talk to DH, work, eat, or sew. Sadly, I mainly sew baby items for friends and family. It is keeping me busy, once the GP board saw it and my blog, the orders keep coming in! I just found a hobby I enjoyed. Even if it is depressing making baby things, I enjoy doing it, and I know one day I will be able to make things for myself.
My favorite chocolate bar is either plain old Hershey's or 3 Musketeers!
If money were no object we would be headed to Australia this Summer. We would also love to go back to Hawaii and see more!

When IF/AZOO gets you down how do you bounce back? Man this is a hard one. I will spend time with DH and friends. I try to get into the kitchen which is kinda my zone. Basically do stuff that takes my mind off of it and makes me happy. But it is really hard sometimes.
What's your favorite chocolate bar?
I am not a huge chocolate fan but I do like Violet Crumbles and 3 Musketeers.
If money were no object where would you travel to?
Seychelles and stay in a hut with absolutely no contact at all with the outside world. Off the grid totally!

When IF/AZOO gets you down how do you bounce back? Well, I only check in with this group and *try* to stay away from lurking too much on the board because I know I will dwell on our situation. H knows when I am starting to get down (and I of him). I think we do a good job of keeping each other in check. Other than that I just keep busy and enjoy life!

If money were no object where would you travel to? Panambi, Brazil to see a friend or some sort of remote beach front property that has a pool with a swim up bar!
Our update: The surgery went well. They were able to freeze 2 vials. The initial comment was they are not in the best of shape but will probably be good enough for ICIS. We go to RE on Monday to follow up.

Update: I had D&C for a missed miscarriage last friday. They sent the POC for genetic testing to see what was wrong. RE is off next week so we'll be going back on the 14th to discuss everything. Hopefully HCGs will have dropped by then.

Cleaning the house getting things organized and getting myself prepared for next cycle.
