My favorite, "You and DH will never have a girl, they just don't run in the family." Muwahhhhhhahaha!
She is now taking pictures in the dark because she can see spirits and balls of energy.
I googled light orbs in digital pics. They are dust balls, she said I was wrong and that she is clairvoyant.
She leaves radom crystals around my house when I am not there.

i just almost woke DD up with my laughing!! omg.....too funny! i will think of you the next time my MIL is making me crazy.

When DD was 4 months: *talking to my DD* "If your mommy put you on your stomach more, you would be crawling all over the place"
"Do you think they even take her out of her carseat at daycare?"
"Why does she cry with me? She goes to daycare everyday!"
talking to DD again-"Oh tell me all the mean things your mommy did to you today!"
Seriously I could go on and on.....
This is one from my FIL, my MIL is awesome and it is no wonder they are no longer together...
DH and I (PG last summer), along with SIL, BIL and nephew, were visiting FIL in Cape Cod. We were at the beach and SIL is putting sunscreen on nephew. He was about 18 months at the time and of course not sitting still so FIL says...
"Don't bother with the sunscreen, let him get a tan..." We all looked at him and SIL said, "Ummm, no he has sensitive baby skin that needs to be protected."
"only the indigenous and the poor breastfeed....you don't want to be like them!"
She still hasn't come to terms with me ebfing and is veeerrryy uncomfortable around me even with a cover/blanket on. Also constantly asks me why I continue to ebf and will until DD is a year (or longer).
That makes me nuts!! When did BFing become a class thing? Geesh
my MIL says many dumb things, but this weekend topped the cake!
DS was crying in my arms and she takes him from me and says "mimi will save you from that mean mommy"
This! MIL drives me crazyyyy. And if any of you watch The Hills, the MIL that is 'clairvoyant' and uses crystals reminds me of Spencer. LOL
Oh sweet baby jesus I could write a book. My MIL is the most passive aggressive person on this planet. Trust. Last time I saw her she asked me 3 times if I like my hair long.

Shortly after we moved DD into her room (at 5 weeks) we told MIL about it. We were so excited that DD was sleeping in her own room and we were all sleeping better. She said (and was totally serious) "You should be ashamed of yourselves! Leaving that poor baby alone like that! My kids slept with me for years and they're fine! That is a SIN leaving your baby by herself like that." When I said we have a baby monitor and can hear every noise she makes MIL said "I do not BELIEVE in THOSE things!"
I should have said "Well, they're very real!"
