Would you say anything? (carseat related)

A friend from my hometown has two children and his wife keeps a blog. She posted about moving her baby to his new carseat and facing him forward. *edited* He just turned 8 months. I know it's none of my business, but it's so unsafe not to mention illegal. Would you say anything?

I think I would. I believe you could say something tasteful and not come across as rude or anything

I probably would. Make it like a "oh I just read, blah, blah, blah" kind of thing. You don't have to do it in a critizing way. Do it as if you just found out. Tell her that you were preparing to move your LO to front facing, decided to do some reasearch and found that rear facing is the law and safest until at least 1 and recommended till 2 and given your recent conversation about her LO you though she might want to know.

I know we don't always want to "play dumb" but sometimes it's the easiest and best way to avoid hurt feelings and potential conflict.

ETA: My bad, you said you read it on her blog. Same concept but you can tell her that you started thinking about doing the same after getting the idea from her blog then you researched, yada, yada, yada.
